child access (custody)
Family Dispute Resolutions Practitioners (Family Law Mediators) are specialists in helping separating couples workout and formalise their parenting arrangements.  Whether you need a comprehensive document that is formalise into consent orders or if you just can’t agree on which school the kids will attend, mediation can help.  At Bayside Mediation our practitioners are experienced in working with parents in conflict we offer a safe, balanced and discreet space for you to discuss your differences and negotiate your agreements.  We are a Child Inclusive Practice and whilst we are impartial and do not take sides in any dispute, we do advocate for the best interests of your children. It is also important to understand that there is a requirement under the Family Law Act of Australia that if you can’t work things out yourselves you must try mediation before you can take a children’s matter to court. Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners are the only professionals who can issue the 60(I) certificate that is required for you to be able to take a children’s matter to court. For more information on Child Access (Custody) go to our Recourses and Downloads page or call us for your free consultation.

Testimonials

Dianne worked with us to sort through what was important and helped us put together a Parenting Plan that we both agreed with. It wasn’t easy and we both had to compromise; but in the end, we have an agreement that puts our children’s needs first. Thankyou so much Tracey.” “Even though my situation is a very differcult one and we didn’t end up with a successful mediation, I found the process of mediation very helpful. I now understand how access and family law works; our mediator gave me some strategies for dealing with my ex and in the end, I know I have done all I can for my kids. Sam” “Great Job, Thankyou George, you helped us through a very differcult time Regards Michael.”
